Don’t Forget the Person in the Mirror | LiveJoy Mentoring

Most of us don’t go many days without saying “I love you” to the important people in our lives. But when was the last time you said it to yourself?

“The truth is, we do love ourselves when we’re not judging ourselves,” says Louise Hay.

Hay says that doing “mirror work,” or saying you love yourself to your reflection, “is one of the most loving gifts you can give yourself.”

“The more you use mirrors for complimenting yourself…the deeper and more enjoyable your relationship with yourself will become,” she concludes.
So even if it’s hard at first, make some time today to stand in front of a mirror, look yourself in the eyes and, using your name, say, “I really, really love you.” You deserve love, even from yourself. So take it!
